YWCA Brooklyn serves more women and girls in the borough than any other nonprofit. We don’t just talk about empowerment, we offer substantive, vital programming that assures all vulnerable women and girls can live safe, economically independent and self-determined lives.
We are on a mission – to assure low-income girls of color attend college; survivors of sex trafficking have a permanent, safe home; immigrant women know their rights and learn English; and older, homeless women are able to age-in-place with dignity.
Your contribution to YWCA Brooklyn will have maximum impact supporting programs that assure long-term self-sufficiency, not short-term charity. Join us in our efforts to make Brooklyn more equitable for all women and girls — donate now!
“The YWCA Brooklyn College Access Program supported me every step of the way, from tutoring for the SAT, to leadership and career development, to assistance with the college application process. I was accepted to my first choice college, Dartmouth, with a full scholarship and I can’t wait to start next fall!” Chara, YW Brooklyn Leader 2018
An anonymous foundation has offered a matching challenge grant if YWCA Brooklyn receives 100 new donations by December 31st. Double the impact of your contribution – support YWCA Brooklyn now! No amount is too small but you only have until midnight on December 31st!
