Since reopening in 2010, the YWCA Community Center for Social Justice has been a go to venue for tri-state residents. Our space is conveniently located in bustling downtown Brooklyn near one of the largest transportation hubs in New York City. The center boasts a meeting/conference room, a community room, a rooftop pavilion, and the Ruby Nottage Community Art Gallery. It’s modern design and affordable rates make the community center an ideal location for small to mid- sized meetings, workshops, performances, celebrations, lectures, conferences, and films.

The Community Center for Social Justice is also home to numerous non profits that serve the Brooklyn community through girl’s leadership, domestic violence prevention and women’s health programs.  We are committed to assisting our partner organizations further their missions and while attaining our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.
