The 2018 Women’s March on NYC took place on Saturday, January 21st, and presented a unique opportunity for women and allies around the city to come together and continue the march for women’s rights and equality. For the second year in a row, YWCA Brooklyn met with supporters, friends and allies to participate in the march.

The Friday before the march we hosted a sign-making party in our Community Room, allowing young people, residents and friends to come together in a creative way.

On Saturday morning, ahead of the March, YWCA Brooklyn was invited to a breakfast with the Office of the Governor to discuss how to organize for the 2018 Women’s Agenda in New York for Equal Rights and Equal Opportunity.
