Brooklyn Families Sit Down to Celebrate Financial Empowerment
To kick off Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams Financial Education Empowerment Month, YWCA Brooklyn hosted a dinner for Brooklyn families, where individuals had the opportunity to sit down with financial experts for advice.
April was officially proclaimed as Financial Education Empowerment Month in Brooklyn by BP Eric L. Adams, citing key economic indicators underscoring the need for greater financial understanding across Brooklyn. He established this ongoing effort to help achieve economic stability and prosperity across the borough of Brooklyn. Partnering with organizations in Brooklyn and throughout NYC, this initiative helps Brooklynites manage their finances in an effort to close the socioeconomic gap with the goal of lowering Brooklyn’s debt.
