YWCA of Brooklyn Hosts “Securing Brooklyn Seniors” Seminar


As part of Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams’ second annual Brooklyn Financial Education Empowerment Month, the YWCA of Brooklyn hosted, “Securing Brooklyn Seniors.” The seminar brought together partner organizations from the financial, grassroots and small business communities to educate seniors on topics such as, saving through online banking, protection from identity theft, financial planning in retirement and more. Representatives from the Comptroller’s office were on hand to assist participants with obtaining any unclaimed city funds.
