Walk with YWCA of Brooklyn at Teen Dating Violence Awareness Walkathon

Statistics show that 1 in 4 teens will experience teen dating violence. This issue does not discriminate in gender, sexual identities, ethnicity, culture, faith, or socio-economic standing. Please join us in changing these staggering statistics by bringing awareness to New York City on the dangers of teen dating violence.

The YWCA of Brooklyn is partnering with The Healing Center and others for the NYC Teen Dating Violence Awareness Walkathon on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The Walkathon will begin at Cadman Plaza Park North via the Brooklyn Bridge. Registration begins at 9am. Please pre-register online here.

The Healing Center is committed to the intervention and prevention of family violence, abuse, and sexual assault, serving people of diverse faiths, cultures and personal experiences. The Healing Center was establsihed in 2000 to serve families affected by domestic violence.
