Martha Kamber, Brooklyn Women of Distinction Honoree

The Community Newspaper Group (CNG) and the Brooklyn Courier honor a group of women each year for their accomplishments, dedication, and goodwill they give to the borough of Brooklyn. CNG and the Brooklyn Courier designate these women as Brooklyn’s Women of Distinction. Martha Kamber, YWCA of Brooklyn CEO & President, was selected by CNG and the Brooklyn Courier as a 2014 Brooklyn Women of Distinction Honoree. The ceremony was held May 21, 2014 at El Caribe Country Club. Martha was deeply honored to accept an award for work she finds rewarding. Martha shared the evening with her staff, other honorees, and distinguished guests.
